Counselling is definitely a passion andvocation; before Virginie's initial training with Chrysalis, then with Place 2 Be andCPPD she never felt any real attraction to any career path, but when she stared mytraining she felt that this was the right career direction.

Since a very young age Virginie always had aninterest in human nature; why people do what they do, what motivate them, howdifferent upbringing will impact one's life perceptions, interests,interactions and motivations. Virginie has a real passion for assisting people ontheir personal journey to changer and she is so grateful to be able to share thispassionateness with others future Counsellor.

Her training was integrative, what she like about integrative counselling is that it brings together different component of specific therapy allowing me to be flexible and focus on the whole of an individual. She can adapt to meet individual needs and concerns. When working with clients her main modules of working are Client-Centre, psychodynamic and TA. Virginie feels that Client-Centre as great value to allow client to feel safe and understood as well as building a strong therapeutic alliance; she incorporates Psychodynamic to linking how past experience will impact the here and now, as well as TA to understand how clients interact within the world and how they create relationship; as Virginie believes there is a fine line between nature and nurture and the way we are brought up will shape the way ones relate to the world in adulthood.
