Andrew Brown

Andy is a Chrysalis graduate. For many years, he worked as an engineer and consultant in the IT industry and has many years’ experience in IT project and program management in the UK and Europe. He came into the world of counselling and psychotherapy later in life when he made the decision to change direction to pursue a new career where he could help people and give back to his community. Andy began teaching classes with Chrysalis when he lived in the North West of England, but has now relocated to Gloucestershire where he has continued to work with Chrysalis, and as a psychotherapist in his thriving private practice.

Formerly Head of Adult Therapy Services for a north west cancer charity, he has also worked as an associate therapist with the Lancashire Constabulary. He worked for many years as a volunteer and supervisor within Cruse Bereavement Care.

These days, Andy concentrates on his work for Chrysalis and as a therapist in private practice.
