This course follows on from the Chrysalis Online Certificate in Introduction to Life Coaching.
The course gives a comprehensive coverage of different models such as the OSCAR Model, the GROW model, and further coverage of the 6-Step model introduced in the previous course.
The course covers concepts which cross over with therapeutic practice such as Cognitive and Behavioural, Psychodynamic and Neuro-Linguistic Programming and how they relate to Life Coaching Practice.
With video demonstration from a professional practitioner, and clear guidance in relation to the process of coaching work, reflective practice, ethical awareness, and development of skills, this course provides a starting point for a career in Life Coaching.
Recently the NCPS, recognising crossovers between Counselling work and Life Coaching work, has formed a Life Coaching sub register. As an adjunct to a Professional Counselling Qualification, this course provides a route to apply to join the specialist Life Coaching register and possibly other registers too.
This course has Quality Checked training recognition with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register, nor does it equip a participant to refer to themselves as a qualified counsellor or as a ‘specialist’ in this area of work unless they have obtained relevant qualifications and experience to do so.
