WHY THIS COURSE?

The Level 6 Diploma is a research qualification where students will complete 50 hours of approved clinical practice with will focus on in the first half of the course an in-depth exploration of their own praxis. In the second half of the course students will be taught research methods and guided through the process of producing a clinical case study dissertation by both tutor led sessions and self-directed learning groups with peers.

Students will gain 120 Guided Learning Hours from the level 6 Diploma in Counselling Children & Young People.

Students must be have completed the Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People

Deposit of 504.50 - Balance of £2,017.96 paid one month after the deposit

Total Course Fee: £2522.46

Pay by Instalment

Deposit of £605.36, followed by 12 monthly instalments of £201.80

Total Course Fee: £3026.96

Additional Fees

The King’s Trust mandatory fee of £115 is to be paid at enrolment and then again prior to the start of Year 2

COURSE DATE

Course Start Date - 2027

Venue - Birmingham Aston University

10am-6pm one full weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) plus weekly 6-8pm online on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays between in-person sessions at our Birmingham Aston University venue.
