Improving Confidence in Delivering Presentations for the Professional Practitioner
4 Hour
This course is one of a series of short CPD courses for all therapists aimed at improving professional communication skills.
Moving from being a trainee to being in registered professional practice involves not only knowledge and skills in therapeutic approaches but also building your professional presence through being able to competently engage with others in a mature, confident, and professional manner.
As a qualified therapist you will have opportunities to further your career, to grow your practice, to engage with other professionals, to express your interest in new roles, to liaise with multi-agency teams, or to apply for contracts in specialist areas.
As a professional practitioner you may be asked to present your work or ideas to employers or peers at conferences, workshops, funding providers, and other groups.
This course gives you tools to have confident presentation skills – a beneficial addition to your professional toolbox.
This course has Quality Checked Distance Learning training recognition with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register, nor does it equip a participant to refer to themselves as a qualified counsellor or as a ‘specialist’ in this area of work unless they have obtained relevant qualifications and experience to do so.
This workshop is included with Chrysalis Membership.
