Using Parts Therapy within Hypnotherapy

Parts Therapy is an analytical approach to hypnotherapy which is popular for a range of different issues. It can be effective when traditional suggestions have not been fully successful for the client. It is a client-led approach drawing on their own experience, attitudes, and beliefs; and involves careful input by the therapist to assist the client to gain insight, awareness, and change.

To join this workshop you need an existing core qualification in, and a working knowledge of hypnotherapy. It is an advanced technique for you if you already use hypnosis in your practice.

• A history of the development of Parts Therapy
• Preparing the work and using the approach
• A review of the 11-step Parts Therapy process

The workshop is a mix of tutor input of the theory behind the approach, tutor demonstration, class review of case study and example of Parts Therapy script, practical exercises using Parts Therapy, reflection and discussion of ethics and client experience.
