Chrysalis Online Certificate in Diversity & Equality

4 Hour

Chrysalis Online 4 Hour CPD courses are designed to provide you with valuable knowledge and skills in addition to your core therapy training.

These each provide four hours of recognised CPD. You will work through the online course on Moodle (our learning platform) in your own time.

You will receive a digital certificate upon course completion.

On this 4 hour CPD workshop you will learn the following;

1. Terminology and identities, with a specific focus on LGBT+, BAME, and disabled communities.

2. Intersectional identities.

3. The impact of prejudice, discrimination and hate towards people from diverse communities.

4. Barriers that some sections of society experience when accessing therapy and how to overcome them.

5. Equality legislation and working with its remit, particularly the Equality Act 2010.

6. Working within a code of ethics in relation to diversity and equality and understanding your responsibilities as a therapist.

7. Working therapeutically with diversity and difference.
