Sally Reid

Sally is a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. She is an accredited Dance Movement Psychotherapist and has a particular interest in integrating body-mind approaches within therapeutic practice. Sally works with adults and young people, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to the needs of the individual. Her particular areas of interest include trauma and attachment, neurodiversity, and the relationship between psychological, emotional and embodied experience.

Alongside her clinical practice, Sally brings more than 30 years' experience in education, teaching and facilitating learning across a range of settings. She has worked within higher education as a Lecturer and Programme Lead for an MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy programme and continues to provide professional training in the UK and internationally.

Sally draws on both her educational and clinical experience within her teaching, supporting students to bring together therapeutic theory, personal development and clinical practice. She values creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to think independently, develop their self-awareness and reflective practice, and build confidence in their work with others.
