Nicola Hockey

Having qualified in Integrative Counselling in 2019, Nikki brings both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to supporting adult learners through their counselling training.

Alongside running her own private practice, Nikki has developed extensive specialist experience working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This work has given her a profound understanding of trauma, therapeutic boundaries, and the ethical responsibilities that sit at the heart of good practice.

Nikki believes that learning to become a counsellor is a deeply personal as well as professional journey. Her approach to tutoring reflects this - creating a learning environment that is both intellectually rigorous and emotionally safe, where students feel genuinely supported to reflect, question, and develop their own identity as practitioners.
