Lisa Bunyan

Lisa is based in the Luton area and has dedicated over 30 years to working within the caring sector. Her career has included roles with the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service, as a Prison Escort and Custody Officer, and as a Project Worker in a night shelter. She has also actively supported charitable causes, contributing to fundraising initiatives for both the Royal National Institute for the Blind and the British Heart Foundation.
Trained with Chrysalis, Lisa achieved a Level 3 Diploma in Hypnotherapy and has been running a successful private practice for the past 12 years. Her therapeutic approach centres on ego-strengthening, positive suggestion, and the development of personal insight—helping clients create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Currently completing the final year of her BSc (Hons) in Psychology, Lisa intends to progress to a Master’s degree. She is also preparing to begin training in EMDR Therapy, with the goal of integrating EMDR and Hypnotherapy to further enhance therapeutic outcomes for her clients.
Lisa has particular interests in supporting individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and in working with issues experienced by people on the autistic spectrum.
