Actress Amanda Seyfried reveals she suffers from anxiety

Amanda Seyfried told Look magazine in a recent interview that she suffers with crippling anxiety but tries to relax in order to help deal with it.

According to femalefirst.co.uk, the actress, who's starred in 'Les Misérables' and 'Lovelace', has spent years trying to tackle her anxiety and panic attacks.

Now she has said she has conquered her fears by focusing on the positive things in life and relaxing when she's not working. Although she also admits that anxiety doesn't just go away so easily.

"I still fight against anxiety," she said. "It takes time, even to get to the point where although you might have a possible self-image, you still worry about silly little things. I know how to deal with and over time it's not going to be an issue for me. I just try to relax and have fun and not let myself get wrapped up in unimportant things," reports castanet.net.

Those who are worried about anxiety problems could benefit from talking to a professional. Counselling courses for example can be an effective way of getting help when it comes to anxiety and panic attacks.

Miss Seyfried has said her favourite way to relax is to tap into her creative side and paint.
